Amin promises new drama for Ramadan season – ‘strong competition’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19: Artist Dr Khaled Amin is betting on his new TV drama for the upcoming Ramadan season, specifically through the group of producer, director Abdullah Boushahri, whose cooperation is sought for the third year in a row, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Khaled says: “I don’t know where and how to start talking about the new business.” Muhammad Ali is the name of a famous street in India which became famous in the early 1940s because of exchange of trade which prospered between India and Kuwait. The street still bears the same name but perhaps it is more civil now but we will try to restore history and return to that era, with its old atmosphere, with its narrow alleys, with the intimacy and intrigue that was happening then.

He added: “Actually, this series will be a strong competition for the Ramadan season, because it will bring together artistes such as Saad Al Faraj, Muhammad Al Mansour, Jassim Al Nabhan, Haifa Adel, Khaled Amin, Buthaina Al Raisi, Hussein Al Mahdi, Abdullah Bahman and others from the Sultanate of Oman, India and Kuwait to present the finest and most beautiful things they have under the supervision and camera of director Manaf Abdul Abdul, the main partner in the business successes produced by the brother Abdullah Boushahri
