Third edition of Kuwait “Karting K-Speed” championship which concluded its activities last Thursday at Sirbb Race Circuit in Shuwaikh area witnessed a strong competition of elite racers in the country.
More than 40 racers participated in the championship distributed into three groups; male, female and ‘Under 16’.
In the men’s group, racer Abdullah Al-Shihab won the contest followed by Murshed Al-Nabhan and Badar Ali in second and third places respectively. Sarah Al-Shaaban won first place in the women’s category and Reem Al-Zoabi claimed the second position, followed by Dalal Al-Zaid in the third place.
Abdullah Al-Shuwei triumphed in the under 16 category followed by Adel Al-Shuwei, and Ali Fuad in the third position.
In a statement, head of Basel Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club, Seif Awadh Al-Mutairi praised the competitors and the organizers of the championship for an amazing event, adding the performance level reflected high technical skills that qualify them to participate in various regional and international championships.
