Al Sayer holds farewell ceremony for Raju Varghese – Raju honored by Group Chairman and CEO for his dedication and long service

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Al Sayer Group Holding held a special farewell ceremony for Raju Varghese, Senior Manager Toyota Sales Administration who has been serving the Group for over four decades.

The event was attended by Al Sayer Group Holding Board of Directors Faisal Bader Al Sayer Chairman, Mubarak Naser Al Sayer CEO, Business Heads from the trading divisions and General Managers of the Group and representatives from Mohamed Naser Al Sayer (MNSS) Toyota Division. Mubarak Naser Al Sayer CEO credited Raju Varghese for his dedication and sincerity through his work tenure and appreciated his efforts towards maintaining cordial relations among his colleagues.

Raju Varghese had started his career with MNNS at the age of 28, in 1976. During the first months of the Iraq Invasion, he was in Kuwait having taken possession of all the keys to the stock, visiting the stockyards daily in the chaos, to guard over the looting and destruction which was the order of the day at that time. However on the insistence of Mubarak, who was also present here, Raju eventually left after a long 2 months.

Appreciating the valuable efforts Johan Heislitz Senior Business Director Toyota said “Your honesty and dedication at the workplace will always be appreciated. You have always treated your colleagues as your own family, encouraging everybody to work as one team, which I believe is a good sign of strong dedication. For over 40 years, you have demonstrated that you are a team player dedicated to your job every day, every year and seeing the group progress to new heights.

Commenting on the memorable work tenure at Al Sayer, Raju Varghese said “It has been an amazing four decades plus, that I have spent with this finest group and witness the phenomenal growth it has achieved over the years. Very few people, if at all any I am sure, would have had the good fortune to do so. For me, it is also a place that offered endless opportunities for growth. I am overwhelmed with the support and co-operation extended to me at all times, and the love, affection, kindness, and respect shown by everyone of you, especially by the most-respected family members.”

The Chairman and CEO of Al Sayer Group Holding presented souvenir in recognition of his valued long service as well as career achievements and wished him and his family the best on his retirement beginning from the month of July.
