Admission in public schools to be granted – ‘Kids of expat doctors, judges’

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa affi rmed that the children of expatriate doctors and judges will be granted admission to public schools if there is enough space to accommodate them. He explained that the only reason they were not granted admission was lack of space.

The minister made the statement recently while laying the foundation stones of two new schools Umm Al-Qura Elementary School and Palestine High School in Hawalli Educational Zone.

He disclosed that the ministry is on the verge of establishing modern model schools in line with its schedule. He also said some schools have been delivered at Sabah Al-Ahmad Area, and another one is to be delivered by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare soon.
