A drugs factory run by an Indian, Egyptian and a Kuwaiti in Salmiya busted

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 18: The Ministry of Interiors Narcotics department in cooperation and coordination with the Kuwait Customs managed to arrest a Kuwaiti, an Egyptian and an Indian in Salmiya who were producing narcotic substances.  

 A postal parcel coming from one of the Asian countries to Kuwait was seized which contained 2 kilos of methamphetamine. An investigation was conducted and based on the information about the owner of the parcel search was intensified, it was found that he was an Egyptian nationality, who was caught when he came to receive the parcel. 

 During his interrogation, he admitted that the parcel belonged to him for the purpose of trafficking, and he confessed about his two partners who is a Kuwaiti citizen and Indian expat as they manufacture the narcotic substance in a private residence in Salmiya. 

Search warrant was obtained and the security officers raided the house where an Indian woman was arrested, by searching the house, materials and tools were found which were used in the manufacturing of the narcotic substance digital scales and empty bags for packing. The Kuwaiti citizen is still in hiding and search has been intensified.  The arrested persons were refereed to the authority for further investigation.
