KUWAIT CITY, Jul 21: Kuwait Ministry of Health Tuesday registered 8 coronavirus-related deaths, of them 8 not vaccinated, while recording 969 infections in the past 24 hours. Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, in a statement to KUNA, said total deaths reached 2,255 and registered infections topped 388,881. He added that 1,388 people recovered in the past 24 hours to reach a total of 371,125, adding that recovery-to-infections ration was 95.43 percent. Al-Sanad said there were 326 Covid-19 patients in the intensive care units, while 15,501 people were receiving medical care. He added there were 1,123 patients in hospitals. He said total swab tests reached 3,277,000, and infection-to-swab ration was 7.72 percent. Al-Sanad said percentages of infections in Ahmadi governorate was 30%, Hawally 28%, Farwaniya 14%, Jahra 15% and Capital 13%. He called on the public to abide by health regulations including physical distancing.
