‘80 percent private sector companies do not pay salaries regularly’

KUWAIT CITY, June 6: About 80 percent of the private sector companies do not regularly pay salaries to their employees, and most of these companies are of the Information Technology sector.

They explained that there are telecommunication companies owned by unqualified holding companies which acquired technology companies to liquidate them without any reason.

These companies imposed administrative decisions to oust CEOs and partners in an attempt to sell the assets, leaving the companies to lose strength in the local and global markets.

However, the sources revealed that it is the IT companies that have won most of the contracts, tenders and state projects with ministries.
