Kuwaiti arrested: Securitymen, who carried out a series of surprise inspection campaigns in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh recently, arrested a Kuwaiti man for impersonating police with a knife and flasher in his possession. The Kuwaiti was referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for further questioning and other legal measures. Meanwhile, seven individuals wanted by law for their involvement in civil and criminal cases were arrested in the Capital Governorate. The arrest took place after a team of securitymen established several checkpoints as part of ongoing efforts to track down criminals.
Woman swindled: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Adan Police Station accusing a compatriot of fraud and robbing her of KD 6,000 after luring her to join his business venture, reports Al-Rai daily. The victim has provided the police details about the suspect. Meanwhile, Hawally securitymen arrested a 24-year-old Bedoun involved in three cases of stealing from cars in Bayan, says Al-Seyassah. The arrest happened after the Bedoun was caught in the act of breaking the window of a car with the intention of stealing contents, including mobile phones and cash. The officers put the suspect under surveillance for more than a month, revealing that he was involved in 12 car burglary cases.
