KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: Jahra police launched an extensive campaign in Abdali farms and surrounding area after several complaints the security directorate received about people using hunting guns, reports Al-Shahed daily. The officers arrested five people in possession of five hunting guns, including two air guns, 200 cartridges, and 500 pellets. Meanwhile, Abdali Customs officers arrested an Iraqi national for possessing sorcery tools after foiling his attempt to smuggle the contraband into the country. He was referred with the tools to the concerned authority, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Also, the customs officers at the Abdali border post have taken into custody an unidentified Iraqi for attempting to smuggle into the country counterfeit US dollars and sorcery and witchcraft tools, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the contraband was found hidden in a secret place inside the baggage. The woman said a compatriot had given her the tools to be delivered to a Kuwaiti businesswoman. The woman was made to sign a pledge not to repeat the act.
