4th Egyptian Football Assembly Tournament kicks off

The Fourth Egyptian Football Assembly Tournament kicked off with 12 matches in the qualifying round with 16 teams divided into four groups.

The opening ceremony was attended by Egyptian Consul to Kuwait Muhammad Arafah, and Director General of the Professional Kids Satellite Channel, which is the main sponsor of the tournament, Ahmad Abu Zaid.

The first day of the tournament witnessed nine wins and three draws, and a total score of 23 goals.

The team “Al-Ahlam” lost to the team “Al-Nujoum” by a goal which was scored through penalty. The team “Musaed Al-Saleh” defeated the team “Sukar Al-Qawi” by four goals.

In other matches, the team “Masrawi” defeated “Malawi” team with a score of 1-0. The “Qarasena” team lost the match to “Fursan” team while the “Dear Al Fauz” team defeated the “Al-Osood Al-Ghair Al-Murawidha” team.

Also present during the matches was Egyptian superstar of Al-Ahli Club Captain Ahmad Nakhla and travel agency manager Kamal Kabsha along with several members of the Egyptian community in Kuwait.
