KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: An unidentified person broke into a foreign embassy in Capital Governorate and stole 45 cartons of imported liquor together with $100,000 and KD 116,000 cash.

Details of the case revealed that the Operations Room received report from a worker at the embassy regarding the theft and security team led by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah went to the scene to conduct necessary investigation.

According to the embassy staff, he kept KD 16,000 on a desk inside a room adjacent to the street while $100,000 and KD 100,000 were kept in a safe with 45 cartons of imported liquor.

Criminal Evidences Men lifted fingerprints from the scene to trail the suspect (s) who broke the embassy’s windows adjacent to the street and carted away the loot. They noted the embassy has no surveillance cameras or security guards.
