KUWAIT CITY, Jun 2: The General Administration of Narcotics Control team foiled an attempt to smuggle in 300,000 dinars worth hashish of around100 kilograms of from Iraq
Three Iraqis brought came with consignment while the fourth suspect (the Bedoun) was waiting for them on the border to receive it, but the authorities were tipped and were on the lookout and were waiting patiently to catch them red handed.
When the consignment was downloaded and loaded into the Bedouns car, the security officers seized the opportunity and caught four traffickers and seized 100 kilograms of hashish which was in their possession and confiscated the vehicle which was used in the operation.
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Criminal Security Sector, Major General Muhammad Al-Sharhan praised the efforts of security men and requested to honor them as they stopped the narcotics entering into the country which weakens the people.
