26 caught gambling in the open arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: Officers from Farwaniya Security Command arrested 26 Asians for gambling on a pathway in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Apparently, the suspects had stationed four gambling tables when the officers descended on them and confiscated a huge sum. A security source said the officers while patrolling the area spotted several people entering and exiting the pathway in a manner that drew their concern. They approached the area to figure out if anything unusual was happening there. They called for backup before raiding the place after confirming their suspicion. All suspects arrested are currently in police custody.

Two expats caught: Private Tasks Men arrested two Egyptians in Farwaniya area in possession of illicit substance. One of the suspects was also involved in financial offense. A security source said the two suspects were in a Japanese-made vehicle when the officers ordered them to stop for checking and found the contraband. They were referred to Drug Prosecution. Meanwhile, security operatives apprehended a Syrian expatriate for breach of trust and handed him over to Ardiya Police Station.
