KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: Kuwait Anti- Corruption Authority (Nazaha) referred 252 officials and supervisors for investigation as they failed to submit their statements of assets and liabilities last year, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily obtained a copy of the authority’s recent statistics showing that the compliance rate among those required to submit statements of assets and liabilities reached 99.6 percent since the issuance of the executive regulations on Nov 13, 2016 until the end of 2021.

The number of statements received as at the end of last year totaled 27,382 and 15,296 of which were submitted within six months for those who were already in service at the time of the issuance of the executive regulations and required to submit the statements within 60 days from the date of assuming their positions.
