250 new infections recorded in Qatar

DOHA, April 4 (KUNA) — The Qatari Ministry of Public Health said Saturday 250 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours while 16 patients have recovered.

The new figures took to 1,325 the total number of infections and to 109 the recoveries, according to a statement by the ministry.
The newly identified cases include some arrivals from abroad and community transmission cases as well as an expatriate; all of them were kept in quarantine, the statement said.
A total of 3,539 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours, taking to 31,951 the overall number of tests, it added.
