21 facilities shut by Fire Department

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: The Kuwait Fire Force announced that the prevention sector has closed 21 facilities in violation of the preventive requirements in the governorates of Jahra, Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Farwaniya, after a decision was issued in this regard by the head of the force, Lieutenant-General Khaled Al- Mekrad. The force explained in a press statement to the Department of Public Relations and Media that the KFF stressed the need of the owners of buildings and various activities to abide by the requirements of safety and fire prevention in order to ensure the safety of lives, property and community security, but the owners of those facilities did not comply, which led to the issuance of the decision to close them.
