KUWAIT CITY, May 1: The Department of Public Relations and Security Media at the Ministry of Interior revealed that 2.7 million residency transactions have been completed through the online service on the ministry’s website since the launch of the service last year, reports Al-Rai daily. In a press statement, the department indicated that it continues to receive clients who wish to complete their transactions online through the Ministry of Interior website – www.moi. gov.kw.
The department explained that the ministry’s effort is aligned to the current conditions that the country is going through in terms of the spread of COVID-19 virus, the implementation of health requirements, and also in the interest of the public health of public, as well as in accordance with the efforts exerted by the security establishment to develop its service sectors.
The General Department for Information Systems announced, through the statistics on individual operations, that the completed residency transactions through the online service since its inception reached 2,732,944 transactions. The number of completed transactions received through the appointment platform reached 1,001,726.
