149 Violators to be deported

KUWAIT CITY, April 4: The security campaigns organized by the Public Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior headed by Major-General Farraj Al-Zoubi resulted in the seizure of narcotic and intoxicating substances, as well as a big number of violators of labor and residence laws and those reported absconding by their sponsors, reports Al-Anba daily. This is in addition to dealing with more than 655 accidents through the traffic accident investigation officers.

The statistics issued by the Ministry of Interior shows 296 checkpoints were erected by the security sector which resulted in the arrest of 8 wanted criminals, 28 reported absconding, and 121 violators of the residence law. The daily added 149 violators have been referred to the Deportation Department and referred 36 cases of drug and alcohol possession to the General Administration of Narcotics and Alcohol Control. During the campaign the public securitymen have issued 1,449 citations and dealt with 746 traffic accidents.
