KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13:  An Indian expatriate in his 40s registered a case in Jahra police station and reported that four bags containing KD 32,000 each were missing from a money transferring vehicle he was transferring from Andalous Cooperative Society to Jahra. He noted the bags got lost in an ambiguous manner. Meanwhile, Criminal Evidences Men rushed to the scene and lifted fingerprints to trail the thief.

Drugs kill man: An unidentified man was found dead in Saad Al-Abdullah Area. Apparently, the man had died from an overdose of drugs, after drug related materials were found beside the body.
Sources said securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene when the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a call in that regard. However, paramedics pronounced the man had already died after they examined the body, while drug related tools were found near the body. Criminal Evidences Men carried the corpse to the Forensics for autopsy, and a case was registered.

Woman attempts suicide: A rescue team managed to stop a Sri Lankan woman who threatened to throw herself from the second floor of a building in Ardiya area, after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was notified about the episode, and rescue team was dispatched to the location. According to sources, the woman gave up the plan and surrendered to police after the team convinced her to do so. A case was registered against her.

Citizen injured in fight: A Kuwaiti citizen was seriously injured when he engaged in a fight with four other Kuwaitis in Shuwaikh Industrial Area. Paramedics accompanied securitymen to the scene when the Operations Room was notified about the incident, and the injured person was referred to the Sabah Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the other members of the feuding party were referred to the concerned authority.

Robbery bid foiled: A Kuwaiti man in his 40s filed a case in Sabah Al-Nasser police station against a thief who reportedly broke into his home late night and tried to steal. He added the thief escaped when he saw him. A case was registered for investigation.
