KUWAIT CITY, March 3: The new football coach of Kuwait Radojko Avramovic from Serbia has warned “it is going to take years” for the team to recover from the two-year ban that was imposed by FIFA in 2015 October due to what was said to be government interference in the running of the sport in the country, according to arabnews.com. The suspension was lifted in December, after 782 days, in time for the Gulf Cup of Nations where they managed one goal in three games and exited at the group stage.Since his appointment as coach the first games in charge for Avaramovic will be against Jordan and Cameroon next month. The Serbian believes he has a big job on his hand to rebuild the one-time kings of football in Asia.
