6 indicators in Global Competitiveness improved at MoSAL

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh affirmed that the annual report of the Global Competitiveness Index for 2018 issued by the World Economic Forum showed improvement in six indicators of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor’s work, noting 47 out of 90 indicators witnessed improvement in the global measurement.

Al-Sabeeh noted the six indicators having improved in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor include training of employees, quality of vocational training and ease of finding skilled labor. In the aspect labor market – based on the competitiveness report, she pointed to improved employment practices, layoffs, labor policies, ease of employing expatriate workers, internal transfer of workers, and reliance on professional management, wages and productivity.
