KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: Rescue patrols continued their security campaigns in various governorates. Campaigns conducted over the past seven days resulted in the arrest of 19 individuals in possession of suspected narcotics. They were referred to the Drug Control General Department to complete legal procedures.

The weekly statistics of rescue police patrols showed that security personnel issued 4,724 traffic tickets and arrested 109 individuals wanted for absconding, Residency Law violations, and those for whom an arrest warrant has been issued. They also impounded 60 vehicles wanted by the judiciary, arrested 42 individuals without a valid proof of identification, and dealt with nine fights and 132 traffic accidents, including two run-over incidents.
