KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Some believe that radical changes in daily habits and reliance on complex and time-consuming behaviors help improve health and live longer, but recent studies confirm that some simple habits, such as washing dishes, can have a magical effect on health and lifespan, which is what is shown by the two American doctors specializing in neurology, Aisha and Dean Sherzai, reports Al-Qabas daily. In a report published by the French newspaper Le Figaro, where the specialists stress the importance of some simple habits that can be practiced on a daily basis in promoting health, the most prominent of which are:

Use the stairs – The first action that specialists advise is to take the stairs instead of the elevator. In addition to being an exercise that improves the cardiovascular system, this habit effectively strengthens the legs.

Stand constantly – Neurologists advise answering phone calls and sending emails while standing, and seizing the opportunity to stretch the legs and combat the phenomenon of sitting for long hours, especially during office work. Several previous studies have shown that inactivity is fatal, as it increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart and arterial diseases. The two experts stress standing up once every hour and walking for five minutes.

Extend the arms – The other movement that the two experts advise to do at any time is to extend the arms in both directions in circles and in a slow motion while visiting the diameter little by little.

Walking – Neurologists prefer to walk in the same place, and the goal is to combat lethargy regardless of the circumstances, especially if there is no time to exercise. Squatting session – You can benefit from different, fairly constant daily activities to activate your muscles and body.
