KUWAIT CITY, May 3: The recent decision taken by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to grant visas upon arrival at the airport for those residing in GCC countries does not cover all nationalities, reports Arab Times daily quoting a reliable source.The source disclosed the decision excludes citizens of some countries including Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Sudan. He said the citizens of these countries need to obtain security approvals before getting a visa to enter Egypt.The source also confirmed that citizens of Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco with residence permits in Gulf countries are now allowed to get visa upon arrival at the airport in Egypt. He added these people must have arrival and departure seals on their passports to and from the Gulf country where they are currently residing.
