KUWAIT CITY, May 31: The General Fire Force announced that a team, along with the Environment Public Authority, the Kuwait Municipality, the Public Authority for Manpower, and the Ministry of Interior, conducted an inspection campaign on tire storage and backfill sites in Salmi. The campaign led to issuing several preventive violations to multiple companies for failing to meet safety and prevention requirements.

This initiative is part of the General Fire Force's strategy to work with government agencies to eliminate violations within their respective jurisdictions. As part of this effort, the General Fire Force carried out administrative closures of five facilities in the Capital Governorate yesterday morning. These closures were due to the facilities' failure to adhere to safety and fire prevention standards, despite previous warnings to rectify these issues, which pose a threat to lives, property, and community security.

A source from the fire force emphasized that the fines and administrative closures imposed on violators, according to the law, are negligible compared to the potential loss of life or injury that could occur due to non-compliance with safety and prevention requirements.
