KUWAIT CITY, June 11: The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait has confirmed that there have been no changes to the status of its employees, emphasizing that the embassy continues to operate as usual and at full capacity.
In an official statement, the embassy reiterated the U.S. administration’s commitment (under President Donald Trump)to ensuring the safety of American citizens both at home and abroad. As part of this ongoing commitment, the staffing levels at all U.S. embassies are subject to regular review.
The administration noted that, following recent security assessments, a decision was made to reduce the number of diplomatic personnel at the U.S. mission in Iraq.
