Unusual rush to collect civil IDs

KUWAIT CITY, March 2: Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) witnessed an unusual crowding at its headquarters as people rushed to collect their civil IDs after the public holidays, reports Al-Qabas daily.

PACI officials said more than 3,000 expatriates collected their IDs and the number is likely to rise to 9,000 this week. The sources emphasized work is normal and denied the rush was due to technical problems. The sources explained the rush was due to public holidays
