Rodney Holbrook notes that the mouse has been engaged in nightly tidying activities for nearly 2 months.

LONDON, Jan 10: Rodney Holbrook, a retired postman, was perplexed by the nightly tidying of his shed and decided to investigate by setting up surveillance cameras. To his surprise, the footage revealed a tiny mouse diligently organizing objects on his workbench into a box.

Holbrook, residing in the small town of Builth Wells, roughly 60 miles north of Cardiff, initially noticed bird food ending up in stored shoes. Using a night-vision camera, he observed the mouse carrying items like screwdrivers and clothes pegs, skillfully placing them in boxes nearly its height.

Expressing amazement, Holbrook said, "I couldn't believe it when I saw that the mouse was tidying up, he moved all sorts of things into the box, bits of plastic, nuts, and bolts." Delighted by the unexpected helper, Holbrook has relinquished his tidying duties, confident the mouse will manage.

While the mouse adeptly tackles most items, some challenges, like fitting a long cable inside the box, showcase its miniature Marie Kondo skills. Holbrook jokingly remarked, "It's happened practically every night now for two months. I think he would tidy my wife away if I left her in there!"

Interestingly, this isn't Holbrook's first encounter with a mouse aficionado of organization. In 2019, he installed a night-vision camera for a friend, revealing another mouse diligently keeping the friend's shed in impeccable order.
