Fire at bridge on 5th Ring Road extinguished

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2: Acting on information firemen rushed to the bridge under construction on the Sheikh Zayed Al Nahayan Road (Fifth Ring Road) between Firdous and Andalus and put out the fire, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The Directorate-General of Fire Department said the fire was put out by firemen from the Sulaibikhat, Al-Ardhiya, Al-Ansad and Mishref fire centers in record time. No injuries have been reported.

Firemen are investigating the cause of the fire. Senior KFSD officials were present at the site to monitor the fire-out operation.
