Two Nepali workers die in construction site of Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: Two workers died and another one managed to survive after they were buried under sand at the construction site of Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2, the fire department said on Wednesday. The three workers were trapped under sand at the site of the burgeoning facility earlier in the day, prompting rescue teams to rush to their rescue, said a Kuwaiti Fire Force statement. Firefighters managed to dig out the survivor after a marathon rescue operation lasting nearly four hours, while his two companions, both of whom are Nepali nationals, were found dead, added the statement.
