KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: Following the great efforts exerted by MP Abdulrahman Al-Jeeran in running a rehabilitation program for the Central Prison inmates who belong to the terrorist group known as ‘Peninsula Lions’, two of these inmates were recently interviewed, reports Aljarida daily. Reportedly, these two individuals were released few days ago along with another member who refused to be interviewed. They had spent more than 10 years in prison and are now participating in daily aftercare programs. They are regarded as the first success stories of the rehabilitation programs. During the interview, they expressed desire to deliver a message to Kuwaiti and Arab youths in general by warning them against falling in the traps of terrorist groups, especially those that can play with their emotions and feelings to pull them in. They affirmed that they repent joining the terrorist group, revealing that they were victims but are now ready to focus on their lives and make up for the time they lost.
