Two Kuwaitis win 3rd place at Qatar International Baja

DOHA, Nov. 6: Kuwait’s Abdulaziz al-Bashir and Abdullah Al- Shatti won the third position in the third round of Qatar International Baja. Al-Bashir got the position in the T3 category reaching the distance in 1,12,26/hr and the had the same place in the general ranking in 06,16,573/ hrs. Al-Shatti won the place in the 450 CC category reaching 76.2 kms in 1,10,19/hr. Speaking to KUNA on Friday, Al- Bashir expressed his happiness for this win after facing a strong competition.

He affirmed that Kuwaiti racers are determined to make brilliant performance in the next rounds of the tournament. The third round featured 42 competitors from 10 countries namely Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Britain, Hungary, Belgium, South Africa, the Philippines and Lebanon, in addition to Qatar, (KUNA)
