Two Expats in Legal Battle over 24,000 Dinar Diamond Fraud

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: A fraud case was filed at the Al-Salhiya police station by an expatriate working in the jewelry trade, accusing another expatriate in the same industry of failing to honor a deal involving a diamond worth 24,000 dinars. According to the complaint, the diamond was handed over to the buyer, who agreed to purchase it but did not pay.

The accused explained during investigations that he received the diamond and attempted to sell it to a third trader for 25,000 dinars. However, the third party claimed he was owed that amount and accepted the diamond as a settlement for the debt, refusing to return it. Despite efforts to retrieve the diamond, the situation escalated when the third merchant denied ever receiving it. As a result, the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
