Traffic fines on rise

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The total amount of traffic violation fines increased in the previous fiscal year despite the partial and total curfews imposed most of the year, reports Al-Qabas daily. Official figures issued by the Ministry of Finance indicate that the traffic violation fines collected in fiscal 2020/2021 amounted to KD61.6 million — KD600,000 higher than the amount collected in fiscal 2019/2020 which recorded a total of KD61 million.
