KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Toyo Tires, Robinsons Land Corp, Ali Café, AYA Plant, HITCO & Cebu Pacific Airlines Teams clashed head to head during  the first week major opener of the FBAA 41st Conference —14th Toyo Tires Cup organised by the Filipino Badminton Association of Ahmadi (FBAA) paving the way for the winter season major games. Toyo Tires Team took the lead and trailing behind was the Robinsons Land Corp followed by Cebu Pacific on the third spot and AYA Plant, Ali Café and HITCO Teams placed fourth, fifth and sixth respectively in the single robin elimination round.

A total of 180 players in the Intermediate, Novice 1, Novice 2 and Novice 3 categories participated in the event with the selection and fair pairing from FBAA technical committee to form their respective team mates and compete for the grand championship.

Arj Lesaca and Dino Mendoza vs Ryan Aguilar and Brehn Garcia in Novice 1 showed how true warriors they could be with their powerful showing while the match between Ronald Margate & Jonathan Rimando vs Leeforp Alonzo and Hans Up showed no holds barred after they have been defeated.
