Total ban options at government table tonight – Partial ban goals not achieved

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 31: Curfew options of all kinds are on the table at the Cabinet Ministers in the evening meeting shortly.

The sources stated that There are currently two opinions regarding curfew for health reasons aimed at preventing spread of coronavirus, The first of the two opinions is the total curfew which is the most difficult decision. The second is the implementation of curfew in certain areas of Kuwait in addition to the partial ban implemented.

The source said that everyday the risk of an outbreak among the expatriate marginal laborers proves and confirms that allowing them to mix around is dangerous for Kuwait. 

The partial ban of 11 hours a day did not achieve all its objectives. The areas where marginal laborers stay are expected to be the first concerned areas with the implementation of other areas if it is approved by the Cabinet Ministers tonight.
