KUWAIT CITY, March 7: The Kuwait Handball Super Cup Championship's fourth edition kicks off tomorrow, featuring Al-Kuwait, Al-Qadisiya, Burgan, and Kazma clubs. Tomorrow will witness two matches: the first between Burgan and Al-Qadisiya at 5:30 p.m., followed by Kuwait Club against Kazma at 7:30 p.m. All matches will be held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex.

By the tournament system, the Super Cup involves last season's Premier League champion and runner-up, along with the Federation Cup champion and runner-up. As Al-Kuwait holds both titles, it competes against Al-Qadisiya (league runner-up), Burgan (cup runner-up), and Kazma (third place).

The winner of tomorrow's matches will advance to the final, scheduled for the day after tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., while the losing teams will compete for third and fourth place on the same day at 5:30 p.m.

Al-Abyad secured the Super Championship title in the first two editions, defeating Al-Salmiya and Al-Qadisiya, respectively. However, Kazma claimed victory in last season's Super Championship, triumphing over Kuwait Club.

The Burgan versus Al-Qadisiya matchup appears evenly matched, with both teams eyeing their first championship title. The second crucial encounter sees  Kuwait Club seeking redemption against Kazma, who defeated them in the last edition's final. Al-Kuwait, backed by their Gulf experience, aims to reclaim the title, while Sons of Al-Adiliyah aspire to replicate last season's success and equalize Sons of Kaifan's Super Cup titles.
