Top actress Amal Abbas dies

KUWAIT CITY, July 8: Prominent actress Amal Abbas died on Friday morning after battling an undisclosed illness, reports Al-Qabas daily. Abbas, who was 63 years old, started her career in 1984 through the ‘Cinderella Operetta’. Her work with Abdul Hussein Abdel-Rida and Khaled Al-Nafisi in the series, ‘Al- Hayala’, catapulted her to stardom and it left an indelible mark in her acting career.
