KUWAIT CITY, June 4: The American University of Kuwait (AUK) recently marked its fourth consecutive participation in the renowned EuroMilano Championship in Milan, Italy. Fourteen colleges from across the globe took part in this prestigious sports event, with AUK's men's basketball team securing a commendable fifth place.

Invited by the Inter-University Sports Federation (IUSF), the university's athletes engaged in a two-day tournament, showcasing their prowess in six matches, of which they triumphed in four. Their performance underscored their athletic prowess, skillfulness, adaptability, and unwavering dedication throughout the competition.

Muhammad Al-Saleh, the Senior Sports Coordinator in the Student Life Office, emphasized the significance of such participation, stating, "The Euro Milano competition serves as a platform for our students to exhibit their talents on an international scale. These events are pivotal in fostering sports development, nurturing teamwork spirit, and facilitating cultural exchange among participants from diverse backgrounds."
