KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: Three foreign military personnel riding in a Jeep called the concerned authorities when a Kuwaiti motorist overtook their vehicle and abruptly slowed down, reports Al-Shahed daily. The military men mistook the man to be a terrorist but later it turned out the motorist had problems with one of the car tires.

4 held with drugs: Ahmadi securitymen arrested two Pakistanis and an Egyptian for the possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, says Al-Seyassah. While patrolling in Mangaf, the securitymen got suspicious when they noticed a vehicle parked in a dark area with three people inside. When the officers approached the car, one of the suspects threw a bag which contained marijuana. After a thorough inspection of the vehicle and the suspects, the officers also discovered drug paraphernalia in their possession. A case was registered and all three suspects were referred to the Drug Control General Department. Meanwhile, a GCC national was arrested in Ahmadi for the possession of roll of hashish and three ‘Kabti’ pills.

Drug pills with citizens: Securitymen arrested four citizens and a Bedoun in different parts of Hawalli governorate for possessing illicit pills, says Al-Seyassah. A security source said officers from Hawalli Security Directorate mounted checkpoints across the governorate and discovered narcotic pills on two citizens and a Bedoun who were traveling in a car. The trio with the contraband was referred to Drugs Control General Department. They also arrested two citizens who were spotted in abnormal state in possession of drug substances and referred them to the relevant authority.
