KUWAIT CITY, July 11: The Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport, in collaboration with the General Traffic Department, has declared a temporary complete closure of King Faisal Street at Khaitan Intersection every night from 12 midnight to 6 am for nine consecutive days starting today until July 20. This closure is necessary to facilitate construction activities on sections of the overpass above the Khaitan Intersection.
During this period, a new diversion route will be designated for traffic heading towards the airport and Kuwait City. The authority has urged all road users to exercise caution and utilize alternative routes during the specified closure times.
This measure aims to ensure the smooth implementation of construction works while minimizing inconvenience to commuters.
