LOS ANGELES, April 9: As a solar eclipse cast its shadow across the United States, Taylor Swift stirred excitement among fans by hinting at potential lyrics from her upcoming album, "The Tortured Poets Department," on social media. The Grammy-winning artist took to her Instagram Story, sharing a black-and-white video depicting a typewriter punching out the words, “Crowd goes wild at her fingertips, half moonshine, full eclipse,” accompanied by a pre-order link.

Swift's cryptic message sent the online community into a frenzy, coinciding with viewers stepping outside to witness the celestial event of the moon obscuring the sun's face. Known for her penchant for leaving breadcrumb trails for her devoted fan base, Swift's teaser aligns with the subdued aesthetic of her forthcoming 11th studio album, scheduled for release on April 19.

The revelation of the album title came as Swift graced the stage to accept her 13th Grammy win, some personal significance to the star. Speculation had swirled among fans before the ceremony, anticipating a significant announcement from the artist. In a previous interview with Jay Leno, Swift shared anecdotes about the number 13, underscoring its importance in her life and career.

Since unveiling the album title at the Grammys, Swift unveiled a tracklist on February 5, featuring collaborations with artists like Post Malone and Florence + The Machine. "The Tortured Poets Department" is set to comprise 17 tracks, with a bonus song titled “The Manuscript.”

Further stoking anticipation, SiriusXM recently launched Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version), dedicated to Swift's music and fan stories until May 7. On the album's release date and the subsequent weekend, the station plans to air the popstar's entire album, treating fans to an immersive listening experience.
