LOS ANGELES, Oct 17: Taylor Swift has unveiled her plans for the conclusion of her record-breaking Eras Tour, marking a significant new chapter in her career. In an exclusive announcement shared on Good Morning America on Tuesday, October 15, Swift revealed that she will be adding the title of author to her impressive resume.
The singer, known for her hit "The Manuscript," is set to release her first-ever book, which will focus on what she describes as "the most wondrous tour of her life." The "official retrospective" will include 256 pages of never-before-seen photos from the tour, accompanied by "stories and memories from Taylor herself."
In addition to her book, Swift will also release physical copies of the complete anthology of The Tortured Poets Department, a collection that fans have eagerly anticipated since its surprise launch following the album's original tracklist. Both products will be exclusive to Target, available for order starting on Black Friday.
The excitement among fans began early on Tuesday morning when the morning program teased "the announcement from the pop star turning the page on a new era." Although many speculated that this phrasing hinted at a new album, it was generally believed that Swift wouldn't release new music until after the conclusion of the Eras Tour in December. Fans initially assumed the announcement was a buildup to the final leg of the concert series, set to begin this weekend in Miami.
However, some fans noticed the emphasis on the word "page," which sparked curiosity about what else might be in store. Co-anchor Robin Roberts hinted at the "special announcement," describing it as a "big gift for her fans." This revelation left fans "SHAKING" in anticipation, realizing something significant was on the horizon.
This announcement follows years of hope from fans for Swift to release a novel. Speculation had previously circulated regarding her involvement in the book Argylle, rumored to be written under a pseudonym, as well as unconfirmed reports of a surprise memoir last summer.
