T-Mass, KIB, Kazma revive title hopes – BMW blank Triple-O; Al-Taresh Perfumes down Al-Zamel 4-1

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: On the seventh and eighth day of the ongoing Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Rawdhan Ramadan Futsal Tournament 2017, the teams T-Mass, Kuwait International Bank and Kazma revived their hopes of winning the title after qualifying to the advanced stages of the tournament.

Concerning the tournament, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Abdullatif Al-Rawdhan praised the tournament especially since it has created a jubilant atmosphere laden with fun and family spirit, as well as the discipline of players on the field and the huge turnout of spectators.

He affirmed that the tournament keeps getting better and better in every new edition through the continuous efforts exerted by the organizers to ensure the tournament maintains an image more splendid and better than the previous one.

In the first match, T-Mass team defeated the Banking Club team by two goals. With this win, the T-Mass team’s points increased to four while the Banking Club remained at three points.

In the second match, the Kuwait International Bank team achieved its first win in the tournament after defeating Al-Qadsiya team by 7-0 goals, rendering Al-Qadsiya team to be the first to exit the tournament.

Five of the goals of the Kuwait International Bank team were scored by a single player, Jefferson from Brazil, making him the top scorer of the tournament so far. In the third match, Kazma team compensated their defeat in the first round against the BMW team, by defeating Ministry of Electricity team by 6-1 goals.

On the eighth day of the tournament, Holiday Inn team reached a goalless draw in its match with the RAR team, the BMW team crushed the Triple-O team by a score of 4-0 goals. The Al-Taresh Perfumes team defeated Al-Zamel Rehab Center team by 4-1 goals.

In today’s matches, Al-Jahra team will face Manahi Al-Oseimi Diwaniya team, the team of Hidd Club will meet the team of Gulf Cables, and the team of Kuwait Credit Bank will face the late Abdullah Muhammad Al-Medlej team.

In the amateur category, Al-Qadsiya team defeated Arsenal Academy team by two-zero score. In the second match, the Heroes team defeated Yarmouk Club team by a score of 3-0. In the final game, the Sporting team defeated Al-Logahni team also by a score of 3-0.

In today’s amateur matches, the Sporting team will face Rawda team, the Gulf team will meet Qadsiya Cooperative Society team and the Egypt’s Academy team will face Al-Shabab team. Another highlight of the tournament is that the organizing committee, for the first time in the history of the tournament, distributed 150 prizes to the fans within a single day. This was by randomly sticking papers under the seats of the winners inside the hall.
