Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting of end user problems and respond to user requests
- Provide all touch maintenance to include vulnerability patching, hardware/software upgrades, setup and replacement of equipment and other requests as directed
- Manage, operate, maintain and support Windows and Linux based systems
- Consolidate, collect, configure, and review system audit logs
- Manage user access through account and privileged user management
- Monitor system performance and capacity
- Configure, implement, administer, and maintain operating systems
- Manage users, computers, security groups and other Active Directory requirements for the site
- Participate in special projects and day-to-day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead
- Assist users with new software and/or equipment
- Manages the security systems related to the company: Firewall; Security Administration
- Analyzes network performance, monitors and reports component and connectivity problems, performs functional verifications and system audit
- Documents network incidents, problems and resolutions for future reference
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred
- 7+ years of related experience
- Basic knowledge of software and hardware, testing and implementation
- Experience collaborating with geographically diverse teams
- Ability to work independently with little supervision to produce consistently exceptional work
