Responsibilities 

• Perform troubleshooting of end user problems and respond to user requests
• Provide all touch maintenance to include vulnerability patching, hardware/software upgrades, setup and replacement of equipment and other requests as directed
• Manage, operate, maintain and support Windows and Linux based systems
• Consolidate, collect, configure, and review system audit logs
• Manage user access through account and privileged user management
• Monitor system performance and capacity
• Configure, implement, administer, and maintain operating systems
• Manage users, computers, security groups and other Active Directory requirements for the site
• Participate in special projects and day-to-day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead
• Assist users with new software and/or equipment
• Manages the security systems related to the company: Firewall; Security Administration
• Analyzes network performance, monitors and reports component and connectivity problems, performs functional verifications and system audit
• Documents network incidents, problems and resolutions for future reference

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred
• 7+ years of related experience
• Basic knowledge of software and hardware, testing and implementation
• Experience collaborating with geographically diverse teams
• Ability to work independently with little supervision to produce consistently exceptional work
