KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: The Criminal Security Sector, under the General Department of Criminal Investigations (Ahmadi Governorate Investigations Department), has successfully apprehended the suspect involved in an armed robbery at a money exchange in Fintas.

The suspect allegedly entered the money exchange armed with a firearm and, following the robbery, fled the scene by hijacking a taxi, continuing to brandish the weapon.

Upon receiving the robbery report, detectives launched an intensive investigation, working around the clock to gather crucial information and evidence. Surveillance camera footage was instrumental in tracking the suspect’s movements. After obtaining the necessary legal permissions, authorities arrested the individual, who subsequently confessed to the crime and revealed the location of the hidden firearm.

The suspect has been transferred to the appropriate legal authorities, where further legal actions will be pursued.
