KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: Sulaibikhat Club’s first handball team claimed its first victory of the Premier League season, edging out Al-Arabi 33-32 in the third round at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. The round also saw Burgan secure a comfortable 41-24 win over Al-Nasr.
After three rounds, the Premier League standings are as follows: Kuwait Club leads with 6 points, Burgan and Kazma have 5 points each, Sulaibikhat and Al-Arabi have 3 points each, Al-Salmiya holds 2 points, while Al-Qadsia and Al-Nasr remain at the bottom with no points.
The fourth round will take place on September 15 and 20 at Saad Al-Abdullah Hall, coinciding with the Arab Clubs Handball Championship in Kuwait (September 12–22).
