KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: Sulaibikhat ended Qadsia’s winning run in the Handball Premier League with a 33-28 victory in the seventh and final round of the first section at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. In another match, Al-Arabi secured a 33-26 win over Al-Salmiya.

Qadsia had won its previous three matches, beating Al-Salmiya 31-30, Al-Nasr 33-23, and Al-Arabi 29-25, but Sulaibikhat halted its momentum.

The Premier League standings :

Kuwait Club: 12 points

Burgan: 8 points

Kazma: 7 points

Qadsia, Al-Arabi, Al-Salmiya: 6 points each

Sulaibikhat: 5 points

Al-Nasr: 2 points

The first round of the second section is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. The Premier League is divided into three sections, with the team accumulating the most points claiming the 58th championship title in league history.

In the fourth round of the First Division Handball League:

Yarmouk defeated Al-Sahel 35-30

Al-Qurain overcame Al-Fahaheel 39-27

Khaitan beat the Youth National Team 34-32

Khaitan continues to lead the First Division with 8 points, followed by Yarmouk with 6 points, Al-Qurain with 4 points, Youth National Team with 3 points, Al-Fahaheel with 1 point, and Al-Sahel with 0 points.
