KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: Kuwait's Jaber bridge has become a hot spot to commit suicide, in last 24 hrs there were two suicide attempts by expats (Egyptian and Indian), one in the morning and other in the evening. An Egyptian was saved by security men and paramedics after he jumped over the bridge and fell on the land, he sustained fractures on various parts of his body, he was taken to the hospital.
In the second case an Indian jumped over the Jaber bridge, but it was noticed by a person who was driving, he rescued him and informed the MOI operations where security men and ambulance attended the call, he was taken to the hospital.
In previous two cases an Australian female of Arab origin committed suicide, where as in July a Kuwaiti female attempted to commit suicide who was having psychological problem. Currently in last 4 suicide attempts 3 has been unsuccessful.
