Sudan suggests Kuwait hire its 500 teachers

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Republic of Sudan has submitted a proposal to Kuwait to hire around 500 Sudanese teachers to work in government schools under the secondment system. Sudan's Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Omar, suggested to his Kuwaiti counterpart, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Education, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, to approve the hiring of 400 to 500 Sudanese teachers for public schools.

Dr. Omar requested that Al-Jalal allow Sudanese teachers to work at various educational levels, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to Kuwait's educational system through their knowledge, experience, and dedication.
